NEW CHIC SUPERMARKET

Today I went to this new supermarket near Fountain Square, in front of Mozart cafe.

The building is amazing, it has painted ceilings , big  chandelliers, all the goods are very well organized or at least divided into sectors according to the type of products ( cheese stall, butter stall, ham stall etc).

Same prices such us Gastronomic or Citimart

The store has a cafè, a winery and a bakery. It is charmy, cosy and a bit luxurious to be a supermarket.

PASEO MAÑANERO

Una linda caminata hize hoy.
Desde el inicio del boulevard , cerca del Hotel Marriot Absheron comenzé a caminar por el seaside, poca gente, 9 am, nublado pero con el sol colándose por las nubes, nada de viento.
Si camina hasta el nuevo museo de alfombras que aun no se ha inaugurado puede cruzar a esa altura hacia el funicular y subir las cientos de escaleras,  es buen ejercicio y al final , es decir arriba, uno se encuentra con una vista panorámica de la ciudad increible.

Fui al 28 May Mall, lleno de gente, los negocios  llenos , descuentos, descuentos, descuentos.

IN BAKU

Llegué a Baku, cansada y con el cuerpo dolorido de estar sentada muchas horas aqui estoy, ya las maletas vacías, cada cosa en su lugar.

Baku amaneció frio 8 grados me marca la temperatura , para mi mas ya que vengo de estar con 42 grados, esa bruma que se ve a lo lejos no deja ver bien el mar.

Mañana ultimo dia del año , deseo que cada uno pueda hacer un 2014 mejor. 365 oportunidades!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This year Im in Argentina spending time with my family and some good friends , this Christmas is with hot weather, 43 degrees , all in the swimming pool .

No snow men, not white Christmas.

In Argentina people used to stay with family, some cook barbecue, some fruit salad, stuffed chicken, all together, beer, wine, champagne, fernet with coca cola


I wish you all a Merry Christmas, in some days I will be in Baku.

DESDE CORDOBA- ARGENTINA

Sigo de vacaciones, hoy festejando el cumple de mi hijo menor, 3 años!

Los días pasan rápido, muchas cosas para hacer, uno quiere ver a los amigos, a los tios, parientes, mi madrina, ir a los médicos .... todo no se puede...
Baku sigue fresco, a nevado , asi que cuando llegue espero ir a Shahdag , zona de montañas, a ver si aprendo a esquiar.
Seguramente haré turismo ya que va mi madre, asi que ya les contare.

por ahora , un break, globos de colores, torta de autos y motos, gente por venir, me voy a la pileta

NIEVE EN BAKU / SNOW IN BAKU

Hoy amaneció frio, lluvioso y con nieve. sensación bajo ceroen Baku. yo aca con 30 grados, dia de bicicleta por la montaña, caminata , visita a una amiga querida, buena charla, unos ricos mates, tarde con mis hijos, parque, juegos, y mi dia aun no termino , cena con amigas!!!

DESDE ARGENTINA/FROM ARGENTINA

Les escribo desde la calurosa Argentina, después de dos días de viaje y una linda bienvenida familiar, acá estoy , buena musica, mi taza de café y a mi derecha una ventana grande donde se pueden ver pinos, arboles, casas a lo lejos, la montaña, distintos verdes se cuelan por ahí .


Hoy en baku había una manifestación contra el gobierno, aun no se si se realizó o no.

I 'm writing fromArgentina, after two days of travel and a cute family welcome, here I am, good music, my cup of coffee and a large window next to me where I can see pine trees, houses in the distance, the mountain , various green slip by.


Today in Baku was a political rally against government expected in Azadlig Square.

Se vuela la peluca hoy, que viento mamma mia!!!!!

hoy tuve una linda charla con una amiga francesa, entre otras cosas siempre uno habla de cómo estamos, que tal es 'ku.....

..... parece que uno viene a un lugar de Europa y se prepara psicológicamente para eso pero te encuentras con que es un país subdesarrollado, parece que tienes de todo, da esa ilusión, pero falta mucho, hay corrupción, claro!!! como en otros países y en todos los niveles....... y uno convive con eso, pelea contra cosas básicas, al final del día parece  que has echo mucho pero te la pasas con pelotudeces de logística, problemas de comunicación, gastas energía  en cosas que uno no debería.

caes en la ley de Murphy dice otro amigo..... :)

SUNDAY 2 DECEMBER

Diciembre comenzó con clima super agradable,  esperemos que siga así, no estaré aquí pero les seguiré contando ...
Ahora les comparto unas fotos que saque ayer con mi celular de Baku, caminando por allí con los hashers.

POPURRI

Baku, 19:02

Noviembre en Baku ha sido bastante cálido, algunos días ventosos y  fríos ameritaron cambiar el guardaropas y vestirse de invierno. Otros días nos permitió salir a pasear, caminar por el boulevard y sentir los rayos del  sol.

Noviembre en Baku está revolucionando el mercado gastronómico, nuevos restaurant abrieron sus puertas, asiáticos, de carne, con toque francés, con sabor español, e incluso italiano.
He visitado varios y ya tengo mis preferidos.

PASIFICO, vaya coma empanadas  con toque Argentino y de plato principal, carne con ensalada verde y papas, el chef Martin Quintana los espera.
Los drinks son muy buenos, y el lugar en general excelente.

SAKURA, MADO CHINAR, HARBOUR MATSU  en ese orden para comida asiatica, japonesa toque de curry malayo y carne de pato sabrosa.

CASUAL BRASSERIE, TOSCA   lugares familieros, uno se siente en casa, buen servicio y menu variado


MERCI BAKU, charming, azeristatico con toque frances, la caminata previa para llegar allí por la Old citiy no tiene precio.

PAUL'S , rica carne, si comes well done no vaya!

SANTINO, nuevo italiano tengo que ir! recomendaciones hasta ahora excelentes, 100% italiano. Otro italiano rico es SCALINI, el servicio esta decayendo un poco, el osobuco espectáculo!


DELICIA , el español, NO  lo recomiendo.

LAS TAPAS, el nuevo español aun no fui.

y asi vamos, hay mas opciones, hay crecimiento , poco a poco, es positivo.

Noviembre en Baku se lo ve con "algo" de toque Navideño.

November in Baku has been quite warm,  windy and cold days  merited change the dressing and winter wardrobes . Other days allowed us to go for a walk , atthe boulevard and feel the sun's rays .

November in Baku is revolutionizing the food market , new restaurant opened its doors , Asian , steak with French flair with Spanish flavor, and even Italian.
I have visited several and I have my favorites .

PASIFICO , go eat pies with Argentine flair and main course , meat and potatoes with green salad , chef Martin Quintana awaits .
The drinks are very good, and the place in general excellent.

SAKURA , MADO, CHINAR , HARBOUR and MATSU in that order ... Japanese, Asian, Malaysian touch of curry and tasty duck meat you can find in these restaurants.

CASUAL BRASSERIE , TOSCA family places, one feels at home , good service and varied menu


MERCI BAKU , charming," azeristatic" with French touch , previous trek to get there in the Old citiy priceless.

PAUL 'S, rich meat , if you eat well done no go!

SANTINO , new Italian got to go! excellent recommendations so far , 100 % Italian. Another Italian rich is Scalini , the service is declining slightly, the Osso show!


DELICIA , Spanish, NOT recommended.

LA CASA DE LAS TAPAS , the new Spanish was not there yet .

and so on, we have  more options, the service is growing slowly , is positive.
gastronomic boom here in Baku !.
