El fin de semana pasado fuimos con una familia amiga de paseo por el interior de Azerbaijan , elejimos ir a Gabala primero y luego a Sheki.
Gabala o Qabala es una ciudad que se encuentra a 3 horas de Baku, es la capital de la Albania caucásica.
Albania era el nombre del antiguo reino fundado en el siglo IV. ( no se debe confundir con los albaneses ni con la Albania balcánica.
El escenario pinta como una ciudad pequeña, rodeada de montañas del Caúcaso , la cruza una calle principal con bonitas farolas y zona de comercio, la ciudad es verde y se respira aire fresco, limpio.
Si va con niños puede ir a Qabaland, es un parque de atracciones que tiene una pista de patinaje, juegos para diferentes edades, ( la mayoria para 6 años en adelante), detrás de este parque se encuentra otro renombrado hotel, Riverside Hotel.
Esta ciudad es conocida turisticamente , tiene varios hoteles de la cadena Qafqaz , yo recomiendo el Qafqaz sport o el que abriran próximamente Qafqaz Caravansaray, tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo por dentro y me pareció bonito.
En los hoteles muy poca gente habla inglés , lo cual muchas veces , en mi experiencia, me a costado bastante hacerme entender, muchos chicos jóvenes tampoco hablan el Ruso.
Cerca de Qabala , a 4,5 km aprox hay un lago muy bonito que se encuentra cerca de la ruta , Nohur golu se llama, hay espacio para hacer picnic, tiene mesas y bancos y hay un especie de restaurant.

The stage looked like a small town, surrounded by mountains of the Caucasus, the main street crosses a beautiful lampposts and trade area, the city is green and yo can feel a breathe fresh, clean air.
If you go with children Qabaland, is an amusement park that has a skate park, games for all ages, (mostly for ages 6 and up), behind this park is another famous hotel, Riverside Hotel.
This city is known touristically, has several Qafqaz chain hotels, I recommend the Qafqaz sport or caravanserai Qafqaz that will open soon, I had the opportunity to know him inside and it seemed nice.
In the hotels very few people speak English, which often, in my experience, cost me a lot to make me understand, many young guys do not even speak Russian.
About Qabala, 4.5 km approx is a beautiful lake that is close to the route, Nohur golu called, there is room for picnicking, has tables and benches and there is a kind of restaurant.
Sheki esta a una hora de carro al norte de Gabala, esta ciudad es un poco mas grande que Gabala, es bien verde y está rodeada de montañas también .
Allí fuimos a conocer el palacio Sheki khan que fue construido en 1726 por el governador Huseyn . de una arquitectura única, con pinturas coloridas en el interior , y en las ventanas vidrios de colores hacen de este palacio un Must para visitar.
Sheki is one hour by car north of Gabala, this city is a little bigger than Gabala, is very green and is surrounded by mountains too.
There we visited Sheki Khan Palace was built in 1726 by Governor Huseyn. unique architecture with inside colorful paintings, and stained glass windows make this palace's a Must to visit.
Fuimos a un restaurant que esta como dentro de una plaza muy cerca del palacio, no recuerdo bien el nombre pero pondre la foto, alli comimos cosas locales como piti, quebab, qutab, estuvo bueno y la atención sorprendentemente fue muy buena.
We went to a restaurant that is like in a square near the palace, can not remember the name I will put the picture then.
There, ate as piti local things, quebab, Qutab, was surprisingly good and the care was very good.
Luego fuimos a una una villa que se llama Kish, allí hay una iglesia. fue fundada en la era cristiana , hoy es un templo, no funciona como iglesia.
Dicen que personas con enfermedades o mujeres que no pueden tener hijos van allí a rezar y a colocar una moneda en una gran piedra sobre la pared que se encuentra dentro , la piedra tiene imán, si la moneda queda pegada el deseo se hará realidad y deben dar 3 vueltas alrededor de la iglesia.
Then we went to a village called Kish, there is a church that was founded in the Christian era, today is a temple, not working as a church.
They say that people with diseases or women who can not have children go there to pray and place a coin into a big stone on the wall that is inside, the stone has magnet, if the coin is stuck the wish will come true and must make 3 laps around the church.
